League Facts

In its short 12-year history, over 300 former Frontier League players have signed with major league organizations.

Some Frontier League alumni include 1998 Frontier League Pitcher of the Year Jason Simontacchi of the St. Louis Cardinals, World Series hero Brendan Donnelly of the Anaheim Angels and D.J. Carrasco of the Royals.

Mavericks’ Facts

The Mid-Missouri Mavericks is a professional baseball club and a member of the Frontier League, the premier independent professional
baseball league in the country.

Mid-Missouri Mavericks baseball began play in May 2003 at Taylor Stadium, the beautiful ballpark
located on the University of Missouri campus and home to the Missouri Tigers of the Big 12
Conference.

The ballpark has a capacity of over 3,000 and includes full-service concession areas, a picnic garden and a playground area for the kids.

The Mid-Missouri Mavericks season will run during the summer months of May, June, July, August, and September and it will consist of a 96-game schedule (47 home games).
